The Internet Flamewar

Hello guys, since I mentioned about flamewar on my previous blog... I"ll be talking about it, so that you'll know something about it... If you know about it already just let it be... okay?

What is a internet flamewar?

No, it's not like that.

Internet Flame war results when one or more users engages in provocative responses to the originally posted flame bait. (According to my research)
For me Internet Flame War is an argument between users of the forum on about certain topics... which sometimes makes other users angry and use bad words.

Here are some terminologies used in flame war:
Flame bait : A message posted in forums or social networks which provokes other user.
feeding the troll : refers to someone who responds to the original message regardless of whether they are aware the original message was intended to provoke a response.

Often when someone takes the bait, others will point out to them YHBT for "You have been trolled," or reply with "don't feed the trolls." Forum users will also frequently "rate" the troll as means of acknowledgment, with statements such as "0/10, obvious troll is obvious", or "10/10, I raged."

Flame war mostly would happen in forums about new games or game reviews, that are having argument which is greater and cooler.

As a gaming fan, I saw some game forums with users having flame wars about a certain game. Most of the words are bad and some replies are a nonsense.i think some of them don't know the proper netiquette or maybe they putted there guards down and got loose. This just proves that "If you don't have a proper netiquette you would probably gonna fall for the flamebait." So keep your guards up.
